Originally purchased by the North Eastern Fire Brigade in Aberdeen it
served most of its working life at retained stations in Grampian
region, preserved for posterity by Grampian Fire Brigade
Multi purpose Appliance fitted with a 50 ft Bailey Escape ladder powered by a Rolls Royce B 81 Straight 8-cylinder engine, Served most of its working life at Huntly in Aberdeenshire. At the time of saving, most of the other appliances had been specified as Diesel powered, and all the petrol powered appliances were scraped for £75 a time. It has been totally refurbished and restored to the condition that it was in the mid 80s.
Petrol
consumption is in the 3 -5 MPG.
Originally purchased by Glasgow fire department sold on to Stony wood Paper mill in 1914 following a disastrous fire there, presented to Grampian fire brigade where it underwent a restoration during the period 1977 - -1982.

Originally belonged to the now defunct Culter Paper mill on the outskirts of Aberdeen, owners Banark Transport Museum Aberdeen

Originally purchased by, Glasgow fire department.
Station at the old Springburn fire station at springburn road, as pump number 26, sold on in 1939 to Guandbridge Paper Mills, purchased in the 60s by George Strathdee Jnr, a local vintage vehicle collector from Aberdeen, through negotion purchase by the fire fighters of Grampian in the 1990s.
