This appliance was one of the first Scania Water Tender Ladders to be imported into the U.K. Another product of Fulton & Wylie, it spent much of its early life as a demonstrator travelling throughout the country advertising Scania’s breakthrough into the U.K. fire appliance market.

On return to Strathclyde Fire Brigade, it served at Castlemilk, Calton then at Stepps.

When it was retired from operational duties the vehicle was refurbished by Reliable Vehicles and is now on permanent loan to the Preservation Group.
